This kitchen renovation completely transformed a dated, rustic space into a bright and timeless gathering area. The original knotty pine cabinetry, dark finishes, and heavy wood ceiling created a closed-in feel that limited natural light and made the room feel smaller than its footprint.

The renovation introduced custom painted cabinetry, quartz countertops, a full-height subway tile backsplash, and a striking two-tone island that anchors the space. New lighting, refined millwork details, and a lighter colour palette dramatically increased the sense of openness while maintaining warmth and functionality. The addition of larger sightlines and timeless finishes created a clean, modern aesthetic that better connects the kitchen to the surrounding living spaces and outdoor deck.

The result is a bright, welcoming kitchen that combines timeless design with improved everyday functionality for modern family living.
